Description

  • Lead end-to-end product development, from discovery through launch and iteration.
  • Validate hypotheses to increase product impact using quantitative and qualitative evidence.
  • Identify and frame critical product questions, define success metrics, and extract insights from complex data to inform decisions.
  • Define user flows and product designs to improve user experiences.
  • Develop and manage the multi-year product roadmap, sequence priorities, identify tradeoffs, and recommend resource allocation to maximize impact.
  • Communicate a clear product vision to technical and non-technical audiences and facilitate decision-making that surfaces tradeoffs and risks.
  • Identify and retire legacy functionality that no longer delivers user value.
  • Lead cross-functional product launches by aligning engineering, content, operations, sales, and partner-facing teams through structured processes and stakeholder engagement.
  • Build and scale the Product Management function by establishing discovery, prioritization, and feedback systems and contributing to a product learning trajectory for the team.
  • Prioritize market and competitor research and evaluate product investments through an ROI and impact lens to balance innovation with stewardship of resources.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience as a product manager with strong understanding of agile product discovery and development practices.
  • Strong understanding of a variety of software development practices and an ability to estimate complexity for different types of software requests.
  • Ability to quickly and thoroughly reach super-user status with a variety of software solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to extract sophisticated insights from complex data sets and advocate for evidence-grounded decisions.
  • Proven experience framing and overseeing complex cross-functional initiatives, aligning stakeholders, and mitigating risks and dependencies.
  • Ability to break down projects into process steps, execute effectively, and adjust course as needed.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to align diverse stakeholders including senior leaders.
  • Preferred: experience in K-12 education, EdTech, or the nonprofit sector.
  • Willingness/ability to travel up to 2-3 times per year.
  • Must disclose any current consulting, contracting, or employment with organizations that provide instructional coaching, curriculum implementation support, or similar services to schools or districts; individuals contracting with organizations in direct competition with ANet may not be eligible.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Benefits

  • Salary range $99,144–$148,716; new hires start between $99,144–$123,930 (ANet does not negotiate pay).
