Description

  • Oversee and expand the Stripe Apps partner ecosystem to increase the number and quality of Applications available to Stripe users.
  • Engage with and manage existing partners through regular check-ins to track performance, ensure compliance with marketplace rules, and optimize partnership outcomes.
  • Identify, pitch, and recruit target prospective partners in relevant categories that align with Stripe user needs.
  • Lead end-to-end negotiations and onboarding of new partners, including structuring integrations and, where applicable, favorable economic terms for Stripe.
  • Drive strategic initiatives to expand the partner ecosystem into new partner types and increase visibility and desirability of Stripe’s ecosystem offerings.
  • Coordinate and run cross-functional projects with internal teams (product, engineering, GTM) to enable partner integrations and adoption of new Stripe platforms and surfaces.
  • Gather and synthesize feedback from partners and users to inform product and partner strategy and increase successful Applications on Stripe.
  • Develop and deliver performance reports and data-driven insights to inform decisions, facilitate transparent conversations with partners, and adjust category strategy as needed.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, corporate development, or a related field.
  • Thorough understanding of ecosystem partnership dynamics and business models.
  • Experience negotiating commercial deals with technology partners and scaling such deals across multiple partners.
  • Experience working in product-centric environments with significant internal and external dependencies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across functions.
  • Operationally focused mindset with the ability to set a clear vision and run tight processes for complex relationship management.
  • Preferred: product or engineering background at a technology company.
  • Preferred: experience related to payments, marketplaces, or technology ecosystems.
  • Preferred: experience with co-branding/co-marketing to drive customer acquisition, channel partnerships with technology products, or sales/Go-to-Market roles (preferably in payments or startup space).
