Description

  • Identify and prioritize GTM challenges related to customer attributes and data used to target prospective customers.
  • Partner with Data Engineering and GTM Systems to drive and program manage data initiatives across processes, systems, and architecture.
  • Support the sales planning timeline by improving data quality ahead of territories and targets.
  • Manage data scrubs through scaled vendors when needed.
  • Communicate the data excellence roadmap to leadership and provide regular reports and presentations to sales leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Analyze sales data, recommend actions, and help drive sales growth.
  • Conduct regular data audits to ensure accuracy and completeness, and resolve discrepancies or inconsistencies.
  • Identify and prioritize policy gaps that would improve data quality and governance.
  • Lead change management efforts based on insights and key performance indicators.
  • Enable regional operations and sales teams to use and collect data in the desired manner.

Requirements

  • 11+ years of sales, strategy, or operations experience in a high-tech growth environment, or equivalent experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, venture capital, or business insights/analytics.
  • Strong analytical skills with a structured approach to solving complex business problems.
  • Experience working with data and large datasets to identify trends, generate insights, and make recommendations to senior leaders.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and other advanced analytics tools.
  • 6+ years of experience with sales policy development, sales governance, sales process compliance, or sales compensation.
  • Enthusiastic, hands-on approach with a willingness to “roll up your sleeves.”
  • High adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and rapidly changing environment.
  • Prior experience at a growth-stage internet or software company (preferred).
  • Prior experience in the SaaS and/or payments industry (preferred).
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and planning tools such as Anaplan (preferred).
