Description

  • Develop tooling and platforms for interactive content experiences such as calculators, generators, and templates.
  • Implement feedback mechanisms that continuously improve content and product offerings based on user input.
  • Design and build integrations with third-party software and create seamless workflows across tools.
  • Architect and build server-side systems, APIs, data pipelines, and inference infrastructure for acquisition journeys.
  • Manage prompt pipelines, model routing, fallback logic, guardrails, and output validation for production LLM features.
  • Ensure reliability, security, and responsible AI practices across LLM-driven features, including content filtering, PII handling, rate limiting, and graceful degradation.
  • Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and cross-functional partners across teams and tech stacks.
  • Work with a small team of technically sophisticated engineers focused on user needs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of backend development experience, with emphasis on building APIs and services for user-facing experiences.
  • Experience writing clear, elegant code in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with LLM APIs and concepts such as prompt engineering, token management, embedding models, retrieval-augmented generation, or function calling.
  • Experience building and operating distributed backend systems, including service-oriented architectures, async processing, caching layers, and production monitoring/alerting.
  • Passion for engineering solutions focused on growth hacking and enablement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to connect different services and processes even when you have not worked with them before.
  • Experience developing interactive tools and integrating them with existing systems.
  • Experience building complex interactive tools with state management and data fetching.
  • Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, or Temporal, and structured output parsing from LLMs.
  • Experience with prompt versioning, A/B testing model outputs, or building model gateway/routing layers for comparing providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source models.
  • Proficiency with React, with a focus on interactions, animation, performance, and polish.
  • Experience with A/B testing, synthetic monitoring, or accessibility testing.
