Description

  • Manage the full procurement lifecycle from planning through closeout in accordance with company policies, FAR, and DFARS.
  • Oversee strategic procurement operations across defense and government programs.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on complex DoD and Intelligence Community supply chain matters.
  • Work with business, technical, and functional stakeholders to support growth objectives and program performance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to support program objectives.
  • Conduct market research, supplier qualification, source selection, and cost/price reasonableness evaluations.
  • Use purchasing and ERP systems to create and manage purchase orders and ensure compliance.
  • Maintain accurate procurement files and documentation in compliance with FAR, DFARS, and company requirements.
  • Recommend and help implement process improvements to scale and optimize procurement activities.
  • Communicate with internal customers, partners, and stakeholders and respond to inquiries regarding order status, changes, and returns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of federal procurement, purchasing, or contracting experience, or a Master’s degree plus 3 years of experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
  • Demonstrated experience in negotiations and supplier management.
  • Experience with FAR, DFARS, and agency-specific regulations, including applying federal acquisition policies in context.
  • Knowledge of ITAR/EAR export controls and counterfeit parts prevention practices.
  • Strong business judgment and analytical skills, with a collaborative, self-motivated, and efficient work style.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with customers, partners, and colleagues at all levels.
  • Willingness to expand expertise across other areas of Supply Chain and Contracts.
  • Experience using AI-enabled tools and a willingness to learn and apply AI to improve efficiency, quality, and effectiveness in Contracts and Supply Chain processes.

Benefits

  • Full-time salary range of $93,000 to $117,000.
