Description

  • Research and lead new RF sensing implementations for advanced radar solutions.
  • Decompose customer needs and complex problems into system concepts and solutions.
  • Create, evaluate, document, and communicate system solutions using engineering tools, including Cameo models when appropriate.
  • Design, direct, and implement technology in multi-function radar systems.
  • Conduct performance analysis through simulation and real-world testing to validate and optimize radar performance.
  • Apply appropriate systems engineering rigor to ensure solutions meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define radar requirements, specifications, and architectures.
  • Ensure seamless integration and interoperability across system components.
  • Develop and specify simulation tools to support test and verification of radar software and hardware components.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers and contribute to multi-disciplinary program efforts as needed.

Requirements

  • Active Secret security clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance and support special access programs; U.S. citizenship required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of work experience as a Radar Systems Engineer.
  • Bachelor’s degree plus at least 10 years of directly related radar systems development and deployment experience, or Master’s degree plus at least 8 years, or PhD plus at least 5 years; equivalent experience considered.
  • Expert understanding of complete radar systems, including design, development, requirements verification, test planning, test execution, data analysis, and operations support.
  • In-depth knowledge of radar modes, including transmit and receive waveform generation and signal processing.
  • Proficiency with radar simulation tools and MATLAB.
  • Experience preparing and delivering high-level briefings to customers and senior management.
  • Familiarity with technical reviews such as SRRs, PDRs, CDRs, and TIMs.
  • Demonstrated leadership and delivery experience on advanced development projects.
  • 5+ years of experience working with SysML models in Cameo or a similar tool (preferred).
  • Experience with software-intensive systems and open architecture (preferred).
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as C, C++, or Python (preferred).
