Description

  • Manage program schedules and budgets and translate complex requirements into a clear execution plan.
  • Partner with the program chief engineer on planning, execution, and delivery of program capabilities.
  • Identify program risks, develop mitigation plans, monitor progress, and initiate corrective actions as needed.
  • Coordinate across functional teams to maximize program outcomes.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to manage expectations and drive continuous improvements.
  • Track cost, schedule, and technical metrics across multiple programs to ensure alignment with plan.
  • Lead capture efforts and proposal writing and delivery while following the gated capture process.
  • Create a collaborative environment by providing clear direction and constructive feedback.
  • Understand customer and operational needs, ensure outcomes meet those needs, and identify future opportunities.
  • Connect related programs to improve execution efficiency and help shape STR strategy.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and retain TS/SCI/SAP eligibility; U.S. citizenship required.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; engineering discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant program management experience delivering classified capabilities to the Department of War.
  • Experience managing programs larger than $50M for the Department of War.
  • Experience using tools to support program management.
  • Strong technical, interpersonal, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with the chief engineer on execution plans and set clear priorities.
  • Ability to connect work across programs to maximize customer benefits.
  • Experience leading proposal development and capture efforts is preferred.
  • Ability to satisfy national security clearance, export control, and other applicable compliance requirements.
