Description

  • Develop advanced control system algorithms for aerospace applications.
  • Develop algorithms for sensor and system research and threat analysis.
  • Design and analyze aerospace GNC systems, including hardware and software.
  • Implement models and algorithms in Python, C/C++, and/or MATLAB.
  • Work in small teams of developers on prototyping efforts.
  • Participate in laboratory and field tests to collect and analyze experimental data.
  • Support verification, validation, and improvement of technical solutions.
  • Communicate technical ideas and implementations through reports and presentations.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret security clearance is required, and U.S. citizenship is needed.
  • M.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field, or B.S. plus 3 years of equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and/or MATLAB.
  • Experience implementing aerospace control algorithms, filters, and models.
  • Experience developing and delivering technical presentations.
  • Familiarity with software build and scripting tools and CI/CD development practices (preferred).
  • Understanding of orbital and flight dynamics and modeling of such systems (preferred).
  • Experience with Kalman filtering and related techniques (preferred).
  • Experience using collaborative source code management tools such as Git or Subversion (preferred).
  • Experience building, operating, and analyzing GNSS systems (preferred).
  • Experience implementing guidance, navigation, and control systems hardware and sensors (preferred).
