Description

  • Lead SPN’s four-person events team and report to the Executive Vice President.
  • Develop event strategy, content programming, agendas, speaker selections, and event formats in partnership with leadership.
  • Plan and execute complex events from initial vision through detailed production.
  • Create clear event timelines, budgets, processes, and scalable operating systems.
  • Identify and implement technology and process improvements that reduce manual work and improve execution.
  • Build relationships with colleagues, vendors, sponsors, speakers, and other partners.
  • Coach and develop events team members while contributing directly to event execution.
  • Represent SPN’s brand consistently and deliver a high-quality attendee and hospitality experience.
  • Travel regularly to SPN events.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience leading complex events from strategy through execution.
  • Experience developing event content, agendas, speaker programs, and formats with senior leaders.
  • Strong project management skills, including translating goals into timelines and budgets.
  • Systems-thinking ability and experience using technology or process improvements to scale events.
  • Experience managing vendors, sponsors, speakers, and cross-functional relationships.
  • Experience coaching or managing an events team while remaining hands-on.
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with detailed operational execution.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, relationship-building, and hospitality skills.
  • Availability to travel regularly to SPN events.

Benefits

  • Salary of $120,000–$155,000, commensurate with experience, plus benefits.
