Description

  • Lead the design and implementation of self-service platforms for cloud application development, runtime, and observability.
  • Build platforms and tooling that help application teams become more self-sufficient and operationally capable.
  • Work with information security teams to integrate DevSecOps capabilities into the delivery pipeline.
  • Research emerging technologies and identify promising opportunities for the cloud environment.
  • Lead execution of cloud engineering work using agile principles.
  • Support cloud application and infrastructure strategy aligned with business objectives and technical needs.
  • Develop automation and tooling that reduce cognitive load and improve innovation.
  • Collaborate across teams to strengthen DevOps practices throughout the organization.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in technical leadership roles building resilient, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure.
  • At least 5 years of AWS-centric cloud engineering experience.
  • Experience with development tools, configuration and secret management, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, compute, serverless, clustering and load balancing, storage, databases, observability, monitoring, and alerting.
  • Experience building self-service platforms and automation to reduce cognitive load and drive innovation.
  • Experience with application security engineering and DevSecOps.
  • Experience with AI infrastructure and context engineering.
  • Demonstrated expertise with PHP, JavaScript, Python, and SQL.
  • Strong documentation, testing, and time management habits.
  • Preferred: experience with agentic AI software architectures.
  • Preferred: experience with Azure infrastructure, private cloud, and multi-cloud environments.
  • Preferred: experience developing service level objectives.
  • Preferred: experience with disaster recovery.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and influence cross-functional teams.
  • A strong work ethic, accountability, and alignment with Stand Together’s values and culture.
