Description

  • Lead the implementation and operationalization of cloud solutions through the full project lifecycle.
  • Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure across networking, compute, storage, identity, and platform services.
  • Implement and maintain secure hybrid connectivity between cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Establish and enforce cloud security controls using native security services, identity controls, and encryption.
  • Implement access boundaries, segmentation, and data protection guardrails using service control and IAM tools.
  • Configure and maintain logging, monitoring, alerting, and diagnostic capabilities for reliability and incident response.
  • Own technical delivery across defined project lifecycles with accountability for quality and timeliness.
  • Mentor team members and help maintain high engineering standards.
  • Support platform performance, troubleshooting, and security investigations.

Requirements

  • Expert-level knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, including compute, storage, databases, Kubernetes, serverless technologies, IAM, observability, and platform services.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering, platform architecture, infrastructure delivery, or related technical disciplines.
  • Strong expertise in Google Cloud, Terraform, Kubernetes, automation, security, reliability, and operational excellence.
  • Proven experience designing, implementing, and operationalizing scalable cloud environments for enterprise applications and business-critical workloads.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native security controls, including IAM, encryption, secrets management, security monitoring, policy enforcement, and data protection guardrails.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing governance frameworks and guardrails using Organization Policies, IAM controls, VPC Service Controls, audit logging, and policy-as-code.
  • Significant experience using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, along with CI/CD and automated deployment practices.
  • Experience implementing monitoring, logging, alerting, performance management, and incident-response capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills and a history of independently owning technical delivery and mentoring others.
  • Experience applying Google Cloud expertise to other major cloud providers is a plus.
