Description

  • Submit, track, and secure prior authorizations for psychiatric and mental health services.
  • Verify insurance eligibility, active benefits, deductibles, and copay requirements.
  • Collect patient copays and process payments accurately before or after appointments.
  • Prepare and complete new patient charts in eClinicalWorks before evaluations.
  • Attach intake forms, medical histories, and authorization documents to patient records.
  • Process prescription refill requests according to clinic protocols and route them to providers.
  • Handle inbound and outbound patient calls and payer communication.
  • Schedule new patient evaluations and confirm follow-up appointments.
  • Run proactive patient recall workflows to support schedule management.
  • Maintain organized communication, documentation, and calendars using Google Workspace.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of medical administrative experience in psychiatry, behavioral health, or mental health clinics.
  • Direct hands-on experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) EMR is strictly required.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, including Gmail, Calendar, Docs, and Sheets.
  • Proven experience navigating insurance portals, prior authorizations, and benefit verifications.
  • Flawless written and spoken English with a clear, articulate, and warm phone voice.
  • Private, HIPAA-compliant home office setup with high-speed internet, a computer, and a professional headset.
