Description

  • Design and maintain advanced reporting solutions and dashboards for decision-making across multiple teams and business segments.
  • Lead end-to-end data analysis projects and define technical requirements for ETL processes and data models.
  • Develop customized KPIs and metrics to measure business performance, risks, and opportunities.
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues and implement validation frameworks and BI best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align reporting needs and communicate findings clearly.
  • Own and deliver recurring and ad-hoc stakeholder reports with minimal supervision.
  • Build or optimize at least two automated reporting workflows using available tools, including AI tools such as Claude or Gemini.
  • Document data definitions, reporting procedures, and ETL logic to reduce knowledge concentration risk.
  • Participate in sprint planning and backlog prioritization for the BI team.
  • Leverage AI/LLM tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini to accelerate analysis, automate repetitive tasks, and draft documentation.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a data analytics role delivering advanced reporting for multiple stakeholder teams.
  • Advanced SQL skills.
  • Ability to define ETL requirements and work with complex, heterogeneous datasets.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or equivalent.
  • Experience building client-facing or executive-ready dashboards.
  • Strong communication skills and experience presenting data-driven findings to senior management and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify data quality root causes and implement systematic solutions.
  • Relevant experience, technical skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure, and certifications may influence compensation.
  • This role is based in Canada.
  • Experience with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini is preferred for workflow automation and documentation.

  • Ontario base salary range of $100,000 to $118,500 CAD.
