Description

  • Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs using TypeScript and Next.js.
  • Build and maintain fullstack features across both backend and frontend layers.
  • Architect efficient data flows and ensure performance, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams during agile ceremonies such as planning, refinement, and workshops.
  • Contribute to MVP delivery and ongoing product improvements.
  • Participate in code reviews and pairing sessions to uphold engineering standards.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional development experience.
  • 4+ years of professional experience with TypeScript and production-grade applications.
  • Strong backend development experience with Next.js, including API routes, server-side logic, and architecture design.
  • Solid experience with React for building modern, responsive user interfaces.
  • Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
  • Strong understanding of backend architecture, performance, and scalability best practices.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, distributed environment.
  • Advanced spoken and written English.
  • Availability to overlap at least 6 hours with Central Time (CT).
  • Must be located in the United States.
  • Experience with Documentation as Code (DaC) workflows is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Remark and MDX ecosystems is preferred.
  • Infrastructure-as-Code experience, such as Terraform, is preferred.
  • Containerization experience, such as Docker, is preferred.
