Description

  • Gather technical information from technical teams and stakeholders to produce accurate documentation for government stakeholders.
  • Create system architecture documents, integration guides, API documentation, business requirements documents, and compliance reports.
  • Develop user manuals, administrator guides, training materials, and tutorials for end users.
  • Lead the creation of advanced documentation templates and review team content for consistency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Ensure all documentation meets government standards for accessibility, security, privacy, audit trails, and plain language.
  • Maintain documentation repositories and manage version control using Confluence, SharePoint, Azure DevOps, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Facilitate workshops and interviews with SMEs to extract and translate complex technical details into accessible formats.
  • Collaborate in agile workflows, including design reviews, sprint demos, and peer reviews.
  • Define documentation scope, timelines, and quality gates as part of project planning.
  • Support post-deployment revisions, handover documentation, and user adoption in government environments.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of professional technical writing experience, with 5+ years strongly preferred.
  • Experience in software development, IT projects, or government/public-sector environments is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in English with technical experience, computer science, a related field, or equivalent professional certification.
  • Fluent bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English, including speaking and writing.
  • Strong familiarity with technical terminology in both Arabic and English.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Confluence, Azure DevOps, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear, structured, audience-appropriate content.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-level context and relevance.
  • Preferred experience across multiple industry sectors, creating training videos or tutorials, using AI tools for documentation, translating technical content between Arabic and English, or in leadership roles.
