Description

  • Maintain robust, scalable backend services and technical foundations using technologies including Java, Python, MySQL, NSQ, HBase, AWS, and Kubernetes.
  • Lead complex product and technical roadmaps, coordinating delivery with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Design, build, and maintain access-platform solutions at internet scale.
  • Own technical design planning, architecture, and cross-organizational engineering projects.
  • Identify and resolve technical debt, performance bottlenecks, outages, and reliability risks.
  • Improve engineering processes, systems, tooling, monitoring, and alerting practices.
  • Serve as a technical owner for the access domain and ensure quality of service against SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs.
  • Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, documentation, workshops, and technical guidance.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to deliver features through iterative milestones.
  • Participate in support rotations and act as a first line of defense for product outages and bugs.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience developing and supporting production software.
  • 5+ years of experience programming in an object-oriented language such as Java, Python, C#, or C++.
  • 3+ years leading engineering projects or initiatives involving distributed-system design, reliable service delivery, technical prioritization, or technical vision.
  • 5+ years developing and supporting scalable, distributed backend services.
  • Experience with cloud computing technologies such as AWS or GCP.
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Professional English proficiency in verbal and written communication.
  • Professional Polish proficiency in verbal and written communication is preferred.
