Description

  • Provide real-time clinical support, psychoeducation, and referrals to members on a clinical phone queue.
  • Use active listening, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused approaches to engage members with mental health, substance use, and family or relationship concerns.
  • Assess risk, deliver crisis support, create safety plans, and follow up with high-risk members to support timely care.
  • Recommend appropriate next steps and coordinate connections to Spring Health clinicians, physicians, coaches, or external resources.
  • Support members and leaders after hours and connect them with the Global team, Management Consultation team, or Spring internal teams as needed.
  • Document interactions professionally and communicate with members and providers by email.
  • Follow care management outreach protocols and use clinical judgment to identify and resolve barriers to care.
  • Collaborate closely with care providers, Provider Operations, Care Support, Benefits/Billing, and Product teams to improve the member experience.
  • Participate in staff meetings, case consultations, and trainings.
  • Assist with onboarding and mentoring new team members while maintaining confidentiality, compliance, and ethical standards.

Requirements

  • LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or licensed psychologist credential required.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of direct clinical care experience.
  • Expertise in crisis assessment and safety planning.
  • Knowledge of crisis support, CBT, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and solution-focused clinical interventions.
  • Availability to work Saturday through Wednesday, 2pm–10pm EST, or the equivalent in your local time zone.
  • Flexibility for occasional shift changes and holidays that fall on scheduled workdays.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise strong critical thinking when leadership is not present.
  • Must be fully engaged and free from interruptions for the duration of the shift.
  • Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable using multiple computer platforms, learning new systems, multitasking, and switching contexts quickly.
