Description

  • Design end-to-end user experiences across Spotify’s self-serve advertising platform, including ad creation, targeting, reporting, optimization, and measurement.
  • Contribute to and evolve a shared design system for Ads Manager and internal tools, with attention to reusability, accessibility, and visual consistency.
  • Collaborate with engineers to translate backend systems, APIs, and ML-powered capabilities into intuitive, performant interfaces.
  • Partner with product managers, engineers, data scientists, researchers, and content designers to shape product direction and influence the roadmap.
  • Build prototypes using real data and motion to explore technical constraints, validate interaction models, and communicate product behavior.
  • Work with researchers and data scientists to identify the right questions and use insights to better understand user problems.
  • Support design work on internal operational tools that reduce manual processes and improve workflow efficiency and reliability.
  • Take ownership of design quality and cohesion across multiple features and workstreams.
  • Contribute to a feedback-rich team culture centered on critique, iteration, and craft excellence.

Requirements

  • Around 3+ years of experience designing complex, data-intensive B2B digital products.
  • Strong visual design foundation with attention to detail and craft.
  • Experience managing priorities across multiple features or workstreams.
  • Ability to connect design decisions to business goals and customer needs.
  • Ability to clearly advocate for design decisions with stakeholders.
  • Curiosity about AI, including using AI tools in the design workflow or designing AI-powered features.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to bring structure to undefined problems.
  • Active willingness to seek feedback and give thoughtful critique.
  • Inclusive collaboration style that brings others in and makes space for different perspectives.
  • Nice to have: Experience designing advertising, monetization, or creative automation tools.
  • Nice to have: Background in operational tooling or internal-user workflows with high volume and complexity.
  • Nice to have: Experience contributing to or maintaining large-scale design systems.

  • Base salary range of $119,424.00 to $170,606.00 in the United States.
