Description

  • Contribute to the design, build, evaluation, shipping, and refinement of machine learning systems for promotional performance.
  • Develop hands-on ML solutions that help customers understand and optimize promotion strategies.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to make models efficient, scalable, and production-ready.
  • Influence technical design, architecture, and infrastructure decisions for new machine learning approaches.
  • Work with Data and ML Engineers to move models from research and development into production.
  • Implement and monitor model success metrics to evaluate performance and guide iteration.
  • Diagnose production issues and support system reliability.
  • Participate in an on-call schedule to maintain production stability.
  • Use online and offline experimentation strategies to test and improve model approaches.

Requirements

  • Experience implementing ML systems at scale in Java, Scala, Python, or similar languages.
  • Experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Understanding of how to bring machine learning models from research to production.
  • Comfort working with innovative, cutting-edge machine learning architectures.
  • Collaborative mindset and experience working closely with research scientists, machine learning engineers, and data engineers.
  • Experience optimizing machine learning models for production use cases.
  • Preferred experience with data pipeline tools such as Apache Beam and Scio.
  • Preferred experience with cloud platforms such as GCP.
  • Exposure to causal ML models, including counterfactuals.
  • Experience creating model success metric dashboards, diagnosing production issues, and willingness to participate in on-call support.
