Description

  • Assist in maintaining scalable, well-documented dbt models for regulatory reporting and platform safety monitoring.
  • Help build and optimize data pipelines in dbt with strong auditability and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with legal, policy, and engineering teams to translate transparency requirements into technical data solutions.
  • Implement data definitions and documentation standards to improve data quality and long-term maintainability.
  • Participate in structured reviews of analytics infrastructure to identify performance improvements and reporting alignment.
  • Support the development of self-service analytics by contributing to semantic layers for broad stakeholder use.
  • Help implement validation frameworks for performance tracking and early detection of data quality issues.
  • Transform raw logs into reliable, accessible insights that support Trust & Safety needs.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of experience in analytics engineering or data engineering.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python.
  • Familiarity with modern data stack tools such as dbt and version control.
  • Interest in architecting clean, testable data models for complex reporting needs.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical details for legal and policy stakeholders.
  • Ability to validate assumptions and prioritize accuracy in a high-stakes environment.
  • Passion for transparency, safety, and mission-driven data work.
  • Desire to work in regulated, safety-oriented, or compliance-focused environments.
