Description

  • Oversee and improve end-to-end payment processes, including deposits, withdrawals, refunds, reconciliations, and customer queries.
  • Manage relationships with local payment providers and banks to resolve complex transaction issues and maintain service quality.
  • Monitor transactions in real time to detect, investigate, and respond to suspicious or fraudulent activity.
  • Evaluate payment workflows and implement process improvements that reduce cost, minimize errors, and increase speed.
  • Analyze customer payment behavior and trends to recommend new payment methods or enhancements to existing ones.
  • Lead operational improvements through new workflows, SOPs, and process automation.
  • Oversee the integration of new payment technologies and solutions to ensure smooth deployment with minimal user impact.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, updating policies and procedures as needed.
  • Provide emergency response support during system downtimes or critical failures to ensure continuity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in payment or financial operations within fintech, e-commerce, or related sectors.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Proficiency in Portuguese and/or Spanish is a strong advantage.
  • In-depth understanding of payment systems and funds flows.
  • Experience working with payment gateways and PSPs.
  • Transaction monitoring experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment.
