Description

  • Deliver 45–60 minute interactive virtual life-skills workshops for K–12 students on topics such as public speaking, focus, time management, teamwork, and feedback.
  • Run daily or weekly virtual motivation sessions with students individually or in small groups to review progress and drive goal completion.
  • Use adaptive learning apps, dashboards, mastery checks, and short assessments to verify student learning and progress.
  • Build trusting relationships with students through video and chat to support coaching through resistance, distraction, and self-doubt.
  • Track student goal completion and satisfaction metrics in virtual tools and adjust coaching approaches when results fall short.
  • Create a structured, distraction-free virtual environment that keeps students engaged and participating on camera and microphone.
  • Use stories, examples, and real-world scenarios to make abstract life skills feel concrete and actionable.
  • Collaborate with other virtual guides to refine workshops, share best practices, and improve the online student experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field.
  • Comfortable running engaging live sessions on Zoom or similar platforms with cameras on and high interaction.
  • Strong ability to build rapport through a screen and read the room virtually, adapting on the fly.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.
  • Experience in youth development or athletics such as coaching, camps, or programs that involved motivating kids toward specific goals (nice to have).
  • Track record of high personal achievement, such as competitive sports, academic honors, or leadership roles requiring sustained excellence (nice to have).
  • Natural storytelling ability to hold the attention of 10–15 students for an hour without raising your voice (nice to have).
  • Experience turning disengaged or resistant students into active participants in online environments (nice to have).
