Description

  • Guide student-athletes through their academic day over video, keeping them focused, on task, and moving at pace.
  • Mentor students using Division I swimming experience to discuss training, competition, recruiting, and student-athlete balance.
  • Build steady, trustworthy relationships that provide guidance, accountability, and honest feedback.
  • Support students as they navigate the learning platform and work through challenging material.
  • Help students develop study habits and time-management skills.
  • Reinforce standards for effort, focus, and conduct, including giving direct feedback and praise when earned.
  • Communicate clear updates to parents and academy staff about academic progress and athlete development.

Requirements

  • Division I swimming background with direct competitive experience at the Division I level.
  • Experience working with children or young people in a coaching, tutoring, mentoring, teaching, camp counseling, or similar role.
  • Strong judgment with young athletes and the ability to earn trust while holding high standards.
  • Clear, steady communication skills for one-on-one video sessions and written updates to parents and staff.
  • Reliable, organized, and able to follow through consistently.
  • Remote U.S.-based work setup with reliable internet and a quiet space for video sessions.
  • Recent graduate preferred, with the student-athlete experience still fresh.
  • Coaching or camp experience with youth swimming preferred.
  • Teaching or tutoring experience preferred.
  • Comfort using video, learning platforms, and messaging tools preferred.

Benefits

  • Pay is $25/hour.
