Description

  • Meet with student-athletes over video during academic hours to keep them focused, on task, and moving through coursework at pace.
  • Provide one-on-one golf mentorship using Division I experience to discuss the mental game, training habits, recruiting, and balancing school with sport.
  • Build trusting relationships that provide accountability, guidance, and honest feedback across academics and athletics.
  • Help students navigate the learning platform, work through difficult material, and develop study and time-management habits.
  • Reinforce expectations around effort, focus, and conduct, and deliver direct feedback and praise as appropriate.
  • Communicate clear, honest updates to parents and academy staff about academic progress, athletic development, and student needs.

Requirements

  • Division I golf experience and a competitive background at the collegiate level.
  • Experience working with young people in coaching, tutoring, mentoring, teaching, camp counseling, or a similar role.
  • Ability to earn trust with student-athletes, hold standards, and give direct feedback with good judgment.
  • Strong communication skills for live video sessions and written updates to parents and staff.
  • Reliability and organization, including punctuality, follow-through, and tracking student needs.
  • Remote U.S.-based work setup with reliable internet and a quiet space for video sessions.
  • Preferred: Recent college graduate with a fresh student-athlete perspective.
  • Preferred: Youth golf coaching, camp, or other structured athletic experience.
  • Preferred: Teaching or tutoring experience.
  • Preferred: Comfort using video, learning platforms, and messaging tools.

Benefits

  • Pay of $25/hour.
