Description

  • Meet one-on-one with student-athletes over video during academic hours and keep them focused and on task.
  • Guide students through their learning pace and help them navigate the academic platform and material.
  • Mentor students on the mental side of sports, training habits, recruiting, and balancing school with athletics.
  • Build trusted relationships that provide guidance, accountability, and honest feedback.
  • Support students in developing study skills and time-management habits.
  • Hold students to clear standards for effort, focus, and conduct, while giving direct feedback and praise when earned.
  • Communicate clear, honest progress updates to parents and academy staff about academics and athletic development.

Requirements

  • Competed at the Division I level in any sport.
  • Experience working with young people in coaching, tutoring, mentoring, camp counseling, teaching, or similar hands-on roles.
  • Strong judgment with young athletes, including the ability to earn trust, hold standards, and give direct feedback.
  • Clear communication skills for one-on-one video sessions and written updates to parents and staff.
  • Reliable, organized, and able to follow through on student needs.
  • Remote U.S.-based role with reliable internet, a quiet video workspace, and U.S. work authorization.
  • Recent graduate preferred, with a student-athlete experience that is still fresh.
  • Coaching or camp experience preferred.
  • Teaching or tutoring background preferred.
  • Comfort with video, learning platforms, and messaging tools preferred.

Benefits

  • Pay: $25/hour.
