Description

  • Partner with Account Executives during opportunity and prospect development as the technical and security subject matter expert.
  • Support third-party support and managed services sales pursuits through technical discovery, solution development, and initial costing.
  • Analyze prospect technical landscapes and support spend to shape commercial recommendations.
  • Draft support spend estimates and cost prediction models for proposed solutions.
  • Advise customers on alternate support models for SAP ERP environments and related deployments.
  • Translate technical challenges into business solutions, outcomes, and customer-facing stories.
  • Lead, own, and collaborate on RFP, RFI, and RFQ responses to ensure timely, high-quality submissions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with in-region partners across delivery, resale, referral, and license compliance.
  • Create and improve sales collateral such as PowerPoint slides, whitepapers, and data analysis with minimal supervision.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders across time zones to resolve issues and meet tight deadlines.

Requirements

  • Experience in a customer-facing role such as consultant, solutions engineer, or solutions architect.
  • 10+ years of product knowledge and experience, mainly with ECC and S/4HANA.
  • Thorough understanding of SAP licensing and associated metrics.
  • Thorough understanding of SAP RISE/GROW roadmap, including the advantages and disadvantages of moving to RISE.
  • Proficiency in Netweaver/ABAP Platform, BOBJ, MES, and other SAP technologies.
  • Experience with SaaS platforms such as BTP is preferred.
  • Well-versed in industry-specific IT processes within SAP.
  • Good knowledge and/or experience with SAP application security and BASIS technical security.
  • Good knowledge of SAP competitive and complementary products.
  • Excellent problem-solving, presentation, communication, and soft skills, including the ability to speak to technical and non-technical audiences up to CxO level.
