Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust public and internal APIs, including payment, subscription, auth, and consumption tracking services.
  • Own and optimize the backend API landscape for performance and maintainability.
  • Build and support backend services for payments, analytics, subscriptions, new products, text-to-speech, and external APIs.
  • Collaborate on B2B solutions for enterprise client customization and integration needs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience.
  • Participate in product decisions and contribute strategically in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in backend development with TypeScript/Node.js is required.
  • Direct experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is required.
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers is required.
  • Ability to ideate and implement efficiently while prioritizing work by urgency and impact.
  • Preferred experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
  • Preferred experience deploying high-availability applications on Kubernetes.
  • Strong work ethic and solid communication skills.
  • Experience building great user experiences that delight users.
  • Willingness to work in a 100% distributed, asynchronous environment.
