Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust public and internal APIs for payment, subscription, authentication, consumption tracking, and text-to-speech services.
  • Oversee the full backend API landscape and improve performance and maintainability.
  • Build and maintain backend services that support payments, analytics, subscriptions, new products, text-to-speech, and external APIs.
  • Collaborate on B2B solutions for enterprise client customization and integration needs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience.
  • Contribute to product decisions in a fast-paced, strategically driven environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in backend development with TypeScript/Node.js is required.
  • Direct experience with Google Cloud Platform is required.
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers.
  • Ability to move quickly from ideation to implementation and prioritize work by urgency and impact.
  • Preferred: Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
  • Preferred: Experience deploying high-availability applications on Kubernetes.
  • Strong communication skills and a solid work ethic.
  • Experience building great user experiences that delight users.
  • Available to participate in a multi-step technical interview process completed within about 1 week.
