Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust public and internal APIs, including TTS, payment, subscription, auth, and consumption tracking services.
  • Oversee the full backend API landscape and optimize it for performance and maintainability.
  • Build backend services that meet business requirements and scale effectively.
  • Collaborate on B2B solutions to support enterprise customization and integration needs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience.
  • Contribute to product decisions in a fast-paced, strategically driven environment.
  • Help improve systems related to payments, analytics, subscriptions, new products, text-to-speech, and external APIs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in backend development with TypeScript/Node.js required.
  • Direct experience with GCP.
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and impact.
  • Experience with Docker and containerized deployments preferred.
  • Experience deploying high-availability applications on Kubernetes preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and a consistent track record of delivering results quickly.
  • Ability to work effectively in a 100% distributed, asynchronous environment.
  • Portfolio and LinkedIn links requested as part of the application.
