Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs, including public TTS APIs and internal APIs for payments, subscriptions, authentication, and consumption tracking.
  • Oversee the backend API landscape and improve performance and maintainability.
  • Build and support backend services for payments, analytics, subscriptions, new products, text-to-speech, and external APIs.
  • Collaborate on B2B solutions for enterprise customization and integration needs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience.
  • Contribute strategically in a fast-paced environment and help shape product decisions.
  • Prioritize work based on urgency and impact to drive efficient delivery.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in backend development with TS/Node (required).
  • Direct experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers.
  • Ability to ideate and implement efficiently while prioritizing by urgency and impact.
  • Preferred experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
  • Preferred experience deploying high-availability applications on Kubernetes.
  • Strong communication skills and a solid work ethic.
  • Comfort working in a fully distributed, asynchronous environment.
