Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust backend APIs, including public TTS APIs and internal APIs for payments, subscriptions, authentication, and consumption tracking.
  • Oversee the full backend API landscape with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Build and maintain backend services supporting payments, analytics, subscriptions, new products, text to speech, and external APIs.
  • Collaborate on B2B solutions for enterprise clients, including customization and integration needs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience.
  • Contribute to product decisions in a fast-paced environment with a strategic mindset.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in backend development with TypeScript/Node.js (required).
  • Direct experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers.
  • Efficiency in ideation and implementation, with the ability to prioritize work by urgency and impact.
  • Preferred experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
  • Preferred experience deploying high-availability applications on Kubernetes.
  • Strong technical skills and the ability to deliver results consistently and quickly.
  • Solid communication skills and a strong work ethic.
