Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust public and internal APIs for payments, subscriptions, authentication, consumption tracking, and text-to-speech services.
  • Oversee the backend API landscape and improve performance and maintainability.
  • Collaborate on B2B solutions for enterprise customization and integration needs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience.
  • Contribute to backend services that support new products, analytics, and external APIs.
  • Make product decisions in a fast-paced environment and deliver results quickly.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in backend development with TypeScript/Node.js (required).
  • Direct experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers.
  • Ability to work efficiently from ideation through implementation and prioritize by urgency and impact.
  • Preferred experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
  • Preferred experience deploying high-availability applications on Kubernetes.
  • Strong communication skills and a solid work ethic.
  • Ability to thrive in a flat, fast-moving, fully distributed organization.
  • Portfolio and LinkedIn links required when applying.
