Description

  • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS app.
  • Build and ship production code for Speechify’s iOS application.
  • Work within a dedicated product team to deliver new features and improvements.
  • Participate in product discussions to shape the product roadmap.
  • Maintain and enhance the existing complex iOS app architecture.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and designers on product direction.
  • Contribute to fast-paced execution and shipping decisions.
  • Support a large and growing user base with high-quality user experiences.

Requirements

  • Experience building products that have scaled to a large user base.
  • Track record of working on products from inception through meaningful traction.
  • Strong customer obsession and focus on delivering the best possible user experience.
  • Product thinking and ability to make thoughtful product decisions.
  • Ability to work quickly, prioritize what can ship now, and determine what needs more time.
  • Comfort working in a busy, remote, high-growth startup environment.
  • Strong communication skills and solid work ethic.
  • Technical skills in Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Experience with multithreading programming.
  • Experience working with CI/CD infrastructure and Fastlane.
  • Experience with Git and different Git strategies.
  • Knowledge of SOLID principles and writing classes according to SOLID.
  • Portfolio and LinkedIn links required when applying.
