Description

  • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS app.
  • Build and ship production code for the Speechify iOS app.
  • Work within a dedicated product team to deliver new features and improvements.
  • Participate in product discussions and help shape the product roadmap.
  • Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and designers to guide product direction.
  • Contribute to fast-paced development cycles and help decide what should ship now versus later.

Requirements

  • Experience building products that have scaled to a large user base.
  • Track record of working on products from inception to meaningful traction.
  • Experience owning the engineering of a product.
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to delivering the best possible experience.
  • Product thinking and ability to make thoughtful product evolution decisions.
  • Ability to work quickly in a high-growth, remote startup environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to stay focused while working asynchronously.
  • Swift and SwiftUI experience.
  • Experience with multithreading programming.
  • Experience working with CI/CD infrastructure and Fastlane.
  • Understanding of SOLID principles and ability to apply them in class design.
  • Experience with Git and different Git strategies.
