Description

  • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS app.
  • Actively ship production code for the Speechify iOS app.
  • Work within a dedicated product team to deliver new features and improvements.
  • Participate in product discussions and help shape the product roadmap.
  • Maintain and enhance the existing complex iOS app architecture.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and designers to guide product direction.
  • Support the app’s growth by improving the experience for a large user base.

Requirements

  • Experience building products that have scaled to a large user base.
  • Track record of working on products from inception to meaningful traction and owning product engineering.
  • Strong customer obsession and focus on delivering the best possible user experience.
  • Product thinking and ability to make thoughtful product evolution decisions.
  • Ability to work quickly, prioritize effectively, and decide what ships now versus later.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, remote startup environment with strong focus.
  • Technical skills in Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Experience with multithreading programming.
  • Experience working with CI/CD infrastructure.
  • Experience with Fastlane.
  • Strong understanding of SOLID principles.
  • Experience with Git and different Git strategies.
  • Ability to provide a portfolio and LinkedIn link when applying.
