Description

  • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS app.
  • Build and ship production code for the Speechify iOS app.
  • Work within a dedicated product team to deliver new features and improvements.
  • Participate in product discussions and help shape the product roadmap.
  • Maintain and enhance the existing app architecture.
  • Support the growing user base with reliable, high-quality mobile experiences.

Requirements

  • Experience building products that have scaled to a large user base.
  • Track record of working on products from inception through traction.
  • Experience taking ownership of engineering a product.
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to delivering a great user experience.
  • Product thinking and ability to make thoughtful product decisions.
  • Ability to work quickly and balance speed with judgment on what to ship now versus later.
  • Ability to stay focused in a busy, remote, high-growth startup environment.
  • Technical skills in Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Experience with multithreading programming.
  • Experience working with CI/CD infrastructure and Fastlane.
  • Knowledge of SOLID principles and writing classes according to SOLID.
  • Experience with Git and different Git strategies.
