Description

  • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS app.
  • Ship production code for the Speechify iOS application.
  • Work within a dedicated product team to deliver new features and improvements.
  • Participate in product discussions to shape the product roadmap.
  • Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and designers on product direction.
  • Support the app’s growth and new user base through ongoing development.

Requirements

  • Experience building products that have scaled to a large user base.
  • Track record of taking products from inception to meaningful traction and owning the engineering work.
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to delivering the best possible user experience.
  • Product thinking and the ability to make thoughtful decisions about product evolution.
  • Ability to work quickly, prioritize effectively, and decide what can ship now versus later.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth, remote environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Technical experience with Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Experience with multithreading programming.
  • Experience working with CI/CD infrastructure and Fastlane.
  • Experience with Git and different Git strategies.
  • Understanding and application of SOLID principles.
