Description

  • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS app.
  • Ship production code for the Speechify iOS application.
  • Work within a dedicated product team to deliver new features and improvements.
  • Participate in product discussions and help shape the product roadmap.
  • Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture.
  • Support the app's growth by building new projects for an expanding user base.

Requirements

  • Experience building products that have scaled to a large user base.
  • Track record of taking products from inception to meaningful traction and owning the engineering work.
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to delivering the best possible user experience.
  • Product thinking and ability to make thoughtful decisions about product evolution.
  • Ability to work quickly, prioritize effectively, and decide what should ship now versus later.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, remote, high-growth startup environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a flat organization.
  • Swift programming experience.
  • SwiftUI experience.
  • Experience with multithreading programming, CI/CD infrastructure, Fastlane, Git, and Git branching strategies.
  • Strong understanding of SOLID principles and ability to write classes accordingly.
