Description

  • Document Archera’s data model and the billing formats used by AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Build automated data validation, reconciliation, and anomaly-detection systems and workflows.
  • Investigate data-quality issues to their root causes, resolve them, and automate preventive checks.
  • Replace manual pre-demo data checks with durable automated coverage.
  • Extend test automation across critical product surfaces.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer success to diagnose and resolve live data issues.
  • Use AI tooling to accelerate investigations, generate checks, and triage anomalies.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of software or data engineering experience, or equivalent hands-on experience building and shipping code.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate, customer-facing financial data.
  • Fluency in SQL for transformation and reconciliation, plus scripting experience.
  • Python experience preferred; strong engineers using another language may learn Python on the job.
  • An automation-oriented mindset and preference for building repeatable checks.
  • Interest in becoming an expert in AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud billing models.
  • Comfort using AI tooling thoughtfully to improve coverage and productivity.
  • Experience with cloud billing, FinOps, or other financial-data domains preferred.
  • Familiarity with dbt tests, Great Expectations, Soda, Argo, Airflow, or Dagster preferred.
  • Experience with data pipelines, ETL, test automation, CI, or revenue-critical data preferred.
