Description

  • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS app.
  • Ship production code for the Speechify iOS app.
  • Work within a dedicated product team to deliver features and improvements.
  • Participate in product discussions and help shape the product roadmap.
  • Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and designers to guide product direction.
  • Support the app’s growth by building features for a large user base.

Requirements

  • Experience building products that have scaled to a large user base.
  • Track record of working on products from inception to meaningful traction.
  • Experience owning engineering work for a product.
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to delivering a great user experience.
  • Product thinking and the ability to make thoughtful product decisions.
  • Ability to work quickly and prioritize what should ship now versus later.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, remote, high-growth startup environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or stay focused when needed.
  • Technical skills in Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Experience with multithreading programming, CI/CD infrastructure, and Fastlane.
  • Knowledge of SOLID principles and writing classes according to SOLID.
  • Experience with Git and different Git strategies.
