Description

  • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS app.
  • Ship production code for the Speechify iOS application.
  • Work closely within a dedicated product team.
  • Participate in product discussions to shape the roadmap.
  • Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture.
  • Support the growth of the app’s user base with new features and improvements.

Requirements

  • Experience building products that have scaled to a large user base.
  • Track record of taking products from inception to traction and owning the engineering work.
  • Strong customer obsession and focus on delivering an excellent user experience.
  • Product thinking and the ability to make thoughtful decisions about product evolution.
  • Ability to work quickly and decide what can ship now versus what needs more time.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, remote high-growth startup environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with a distributed team.
  • Swift programming language experience.
  • SwiftUI experience.
  • Experience with multithreading programming, CI/CD infrastructure, Fastlane, Git, and Git branching strategies.
  • Understanding of SOLID principles and writing classes according to SOLID.
  • Nice to have: portfolio and LinkedIn links provided with the application.
