Description

  • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS app.
  • Ship production code for the Speechify iOS app.
  • Work within a dedicated product team to deliver features and improvements.
  • Participate in product discussions and help shape the product roadmap.
  • Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture.
  • Support new user growth by building and improving the iOS experience.

Requirements

  • Experience building products that have scaled to a large user base.
  • Track record of owning engineering work on products from inception to meaningful traction.
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to delivering an excellent user experience.
  • Product thinking with the ability to make thoughtful decisions about product evolution.
  • Ability to work quickly, prioritize effectively, and decide what can ship now versus later.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, remote, high-growth startup environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work autonomously.
  • Swift programming experience.
  • SwiftUI experience.
  • Experience with multithreading programming, CI/CD infrastructure, Fastlane, Git, and Git strategies.
  • Understanding of SOLID principles and ability to apply them in class design.
  • Portfolio and LinkedIn links required with application.
