Description

  • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS app.
  • Actively ship production code for Speechify’s iOS app.
  • Work within a dedicated product team to deliver new features and improvements.
  • Participate in product discussions to help shape the roadmap.
  • Maintain and enhance the existing app architecture.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and designers to support product direction.
  • Build and improve user experiences for a large and growing user base.

Requirements

  • Experience working on products that have scaled to a large user base.
  • Track record of contributing to products from inception through early traction.
  • Strong customer obsession and a focus on delivering the best possible user experience.
  • Product thinking and the ability to make thoughtful decisions about product evolution.
  • Ability to work quickly, prioritize effectively, and decide what can ship now versus later.
  • Comfort working in a fast-growing, remote startup environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a distributed team.
  • Swift programming experience.
  • SwiftUI experience.
  • Experience with multithreading programming, CI/CD infrastructure, Fastlane, Git, and Git strategies.
  • Understanding of SOLID principles and ability to write classes accordingly.
