Description

  • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS app.
  • Ship production code for the Speechify iOS app.
  • Work within a dedicated product team on new and existing initiatives.
  • Participate in product discussions to shape the product roadmap.
  • Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and designers on product direction.
  • Help support and scale the app for a rapidly growing user base.

Requirements

  • Experience building products that have scaled to a large user base.
  • Track record of working on products from inception to meaningful traction and owning the engineering work.
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to delivering the best possible user experience.
  • Product thinking and the ability to make thoughtful decisions about product evolution.
  • Ability to work quickly and decide what can ship now versus what needs more time.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth remote startup environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or heads down when needed.
  • Experience with Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Experience with multithreading programming, CI/CD infrastructure, Fastlane, Git, and Git strategies.
  • Strong understanding of SOLID principles and writing classes accordingly.
