Description

  • Find new sources of audio data and integrate them into the ingestion pipeline.
  • Operate and extend the cloud infrastructure supporting the ingestion pipeline.
  • Manage infrastructure currently running on GCP and provisioned with Terraform.
  • Work closely with scientists to improve the cost, throughput, and quality of datasets.
  • Collaborate with the AI team and Speechify leadership on the dataset roadmap.
  • Support the creation of richer datasets at larger scale and lower cost for next-generation models.

Requirements

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of industry experience in software development.
  • Proficiency with Bash and Python scripting in Linux environments.
  • Proficiency with Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts.
  • Professional experience with at least one major cloud provider, preferably GCP.
  • Experience with web crawlers is a plus.
  • Experience with large-scale data processing workflows is a plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must include links to a portfolio and LinkedIn when applying.
