Description

  • Find new sources of audio data and integrate them into the ingestion pipeline.
  • Operate and extend cloud infrastructure for the data ingestion pipeline running on GCP.
  • Manage infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
  • Collaborate with scientists to improve the cost, throughput, and quality of dataset generation.
  • Work with the AI team and Speechify leadership to define the dataset roadmap.
  • Support the creation of high-quality datasets at petabyte scale and low cost.
  • Contribute to data collection operations that power model training.
  • Help deliver richer data to support next-generation models and products.

Requirements

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of industry experience in software development.
  • Proficiency with bash and Python scripting in Linux environments.
  • Proficiency with Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts.
  • Professional experience with at least one major cloud provider, with GCP used internally.
  • Experience with web crawlers is a plus.
  • Experience with large-scale data processing workflows is a plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
