Description

  • Source new audio data and bring it into the ingestion pipeline.
  • Operate and extend cloud infrastructure for the data ingestion pipeline on GCP using Terraform.
  • Collaborate with scientists to improve data cost, throughput, quality, and scale for model training.
  • Work with the AI team and Speechify leadership to define the dataset roadmap for consumer and enterprise products.
  • Support high-quality dataset creation at petabyte scale through close integration of infrastructure, engineering, and research.
  • Contribute to the development of richer datasets that power next-generation AI models.

Requirements

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of industry experience in software development.
  • Proficiency with bash and Python scripting in Linux environments.
  • Proficiency in Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts.
  • Professional experience with at least one major cloud provider, with GCP used by the team.
  • Experience with web crawlers and large-scale data processing workflows is a plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
