Description

  • Collaborate with product teams to scope projects and balance integration and UX tradeoffs.
  • Reduce project scope where possible to accelerate customer feedback and delivery.
  • Deliver solutions through the cross-platform SDK.
  • Optimize existing functionality for faster loading and more intelligent parsing.
  • Design more efficient abstractions and improve algorithms to enhance performance.
  • Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs in Kotlin.

Requirements

  • Experience as a senior software engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong systems thinking with an emphasis on end-to-end design and simplicity.
  • Ability to work quickly, generate options, and decide what should ship now versus later.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving, remote startup environment with the ability to know when to engage or work heads down.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with designers, marketers, and product managers.
  • Preferred experience with Kotlin Multiplatform; Java experience is acceptable.
  • Prior experience with GCP is a plus.
