Description

  • Collaborate with product teams to scope projects, reduce scope for faster customer feedback, and navigate integration and UX tradeoffs.
  • Deliver solutions through the cross-platform SDK.
  • Optimize existing functionality to improve loading speed and parsing intelligence.
  • Design more efficient abstractions and improve algorithms.
  • Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin.
  • Work at the intersection of product and infrastructure to build clear, reliable APIs and simple systems.
  • Support foundational services and SDKs that power Speechify’s product experience across platforms.

Requirements

  • Systems thinking and the ability to optimize end-to-end systems with simplicity in mind.
  • Ability to work quickly, generate options, and decide what can ship now versus later.
  • Ability to stay focused and work effectively in a busy, remote, high-growth startup environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills with designers, marketers, and product managers.
  • Kotlin Multiplatform experience is preferred; Java experience is acceptable, but the role is centered on Kotlin Multiplatform.
  • Prior experience with GCP is a plus.
  • Ability to provide links to a portfolio and LinkedIn when applying.
