Description

  • Collaborate with product teams to scope projects and balance integration and UX tradeoffs.
  • Reduce project scope to enable faster customer feedback and quicker delivery.
  • Deliver solutions through the cross-platform SDK.
  • Optimize existing functionality to improve loading speed and parsing quality.
  • Design more efficient abstractions and improve algorithms to enhance system performance.
  • Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin.
  • Work across product and infrastructure to build clear, reliable APIs and simple systems.

Requirements

  • Experience as a senior software engineer or in a similarly advanced engineering role.
  • Strong systems thinking with an emphasis on end-to-end design and simplicity.
  • Ability to work quickly, generate options, and decide what can ship now versus later.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, remote startup environment with the ability to be focused and independent.
  • Strong collaboration skills for working with designers, marketers, and product managers.
  • Preferred: experience with Kotlin Multiplatform.
  • Preferred: Java experience is acceptable, but the role is focused on Kotlin Multiplatform.
  • Preferred: prior experience with GCP.
